Funeral services for Billy Schuler, 85, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with David Lilley officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M., until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Schuler was born November 11, 1932 in Houston, Texas, to parents, William Claude Schuler and Christine (Johnson) Schuler and passed away February 4, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, Billy lived in Onalaska for the last 25 years. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all he loved his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Wayne Schuler; grandson, Garrett Collins; sister, Maxine Lilley; and twin brother, Bobby Schuler.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Leah Schuler of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Gaylyn Collins and Grady of Sugartown, Louisiana; daughter, Sharon Thomas and Butch of Channelview, Texas; grandson, Nicholas Thomas and Trish of Hull, Texas; granddaughter, Amanda Thomas Modisette of Channelview, Texas; grandsons, Creed Collins and Dylan Collins both of Lake Charles, Louisiana; great-grandsons, Tristan Morgan and Nicholas Thomas both of Hull, Texas; great-granddaughters, McKayla Thomas of Hull, Texas, and Katie Rutzen of Spring, Texas; great-grandson, Daniel Modisette of Channelview, Texas; great-granddaughter, Bailey Modisette of Channelview, Texas; great-grandson, Jayden Rodriguez of Channelview, Texas; and great-great grandson, Gabriel Thomas of Hull, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
