Billy Jerome Thomason 88 of Livingston, passed away Wednesday December 19, 2007. Funeral services were held Friday December 21, 2007 at 3:00pm in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Hood and Rev. Barry Jeffries officiating. Followed by burial in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

He was born March 25, 1919 in Prarie Hill, Texas to parents George and Maggie Billington Thomason.

Mr. Thomason is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Emmogene, son Billy Jerome Thomason Jr., brothers Albert Thomason and Rodney Thomason, sisters Ida V. Rowe and Thelma Jewel Stockton and Theodosia.

He is survived by his daughter Jerri Brame and husband Bobby, son Clifton Thomason and wife Terri, grandsons Thad Lindsay, Wyatt Thomason, and Welsey Thomason, granddaughters Ashely Brame, Stacy Walker, Carrie Neese, Amie McCoy, and his great grandchildren Jaden and Mason Lindsay, Brandon and Carson Walker, Adam, Matthew and Jacob Neese and Jaxon McCoy.

Serving as pallbearers were Bob Boyo, Jim Thornton, Bennett Rowe, John Garnder, Dude Hill, and David Shaw. Honorary pallbearers were Phil Thornton, Gary Davis, Ira Birden, Burrell Rowe, Bill Kennedy, Jack Matthews, Henry Thomason, Barbara Thornton, Dr. and Mrs Joe and Bea Dabney, Bennie and Sara Glover, and Lois and B.C. Lively and Ernest Reuter.
