Funeral services for Billy Wayne Schuler, 54, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Shawn Perry officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m., until the service begins, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Schuler was born February 9, 1963 in Pasadena, Texas to parents, Billy Schuler and Emma Lean (Fennell) Schuler, and passed away March 18, 2017 in Onalaska, Texas. Although he was born in Pasadena, he grew up in Channelview. He loved to hunt and fish. He also loved his cats and dogs and was always bringing a new one home.

He is survived by his parents, Billy and Emma Leah Schuler of Onalaska, Texas; sisters, Gaylyn Collins and Grady of DeRidder, Louisiana and Sharon Thomas and Butch of Channelview, Texas; nephew, Nicholas Thomas and Patricia of Hull, Texas; niece, Amanda Modisette of Channelview, Texas; 4 great nephews; 3 great nieces; one great-great nephew; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
