Funeral services for Billy Wayne Woodson, 85, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Mr. Woodson was born March 29, 1932 in Yantis, Texas to parents, John Franklin Woodson and Fannie Irene (Ogles) Woodson, and passed away September 16, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Ronald Dale Woodson.

He is survived by his wife, Melba Woodson of Onalaska, Texas; son, Melvin Woodson and wife, Lorraine of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Linda Joyce Badley of Humble, Texas; son, Kerry Woodson and wife, Pam of Huffman, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
