Funeral services for Blanche Yvonne (Eads) Reeves, 75, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM, April 12, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Livingston, Texas with Rev. Orval Barger and Rev. Brett Lester officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Friday, April 11, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Blanche was born on September 1, 1938 in Camden, Texas to parents, John Henry Eads and Rebecca Atkinson Kelley and passed away on April 11, 2014 at her home in Livingston, Texas. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Rebecca and John W. Kelley in the Big Sandy and Soda Communities. She attended school in Big Sandy and then Livingston, where she graduated with the class of 1956. Blanche met and married Leonard Reeves on March 4, 1956 in Livingston, Texas. She later worked as a dispatcher for Polk County Sheriff's Office, Livingston Police Department, and Livingston Fire Department. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Reeves; father, John Henry Eads; mother, Rebecca Atkinson Kelley; step-father, John William Kelley; son, Roy Lynn Reeves; daughter, Linda Beth Reeves; four half-brothers, six half-sisters, five step-brothers, and three step-sisters.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roland Reeves and Donna; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Reeves and Cecilee; two brothers, Billy Eads and Oscar Eads; three granddaughters, Tanisha and husband, Lewis Findley Sr., Emily Rebecca Schroeder and husband, Glenn Schroeder, and Jenna Eve Reeves; seven grandsons, Otis James Reeves and wife, Crystal, Roman Lee Reeves and wife, Amanda, Thomas Kirk Reeves, Tyler Cain Reeves, Marshall Ray Reeves, Matthew Jones, Zachary Jones and wife, Teresa; ten great-grandchildren, Lewis Wayne Findley Jr., Derrick Scott Findley, Walker Lee Findley, Jasmine Reeves, Elizabeth Reeves, Symphony Reeves, Dylan Reeves, Marla Reeves, Reagan Lee Reeves, Zachary Daniel Jones Jr., Peyton Reeves, and Logan Cain Reeves; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Blanche will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Ricky Taylor, Dennis Clifton, Byron Lyons, Leon Middleton, Matt Parrish, Wesley Smith, Dakota Hernandez, and Mike DeVilleneuve. Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Livingston Police Department, and Polk County Sheriff's Department will all be honorary pallbearers.
