Obituary
Funeral services for Bob Carter, 88, of Livingston, Texas will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Carter was born December 15, 1927 in Hominy, Oklahoma to parents, Lenord Carter and Nettie Ann (Roberts) Carter, and passed away October 20, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Elvie Carter and Paul Carter.
He is survived by his wife, June Carter of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Barbara Carter of Livingston, Texas, and Darrell and Traci Carter of Katy, Texas; granddaughters, Madelyn Carter and Emily Carter both of Katy, Texas ; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
