Funeral services for Bobby Rex Hughes, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Eddie Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2020, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., before the service.

Bobby Hughes was born November 6, 1933 in Anahuac, Texas to parents, Hubert Asbury Hughes and Ava Rilda (Walters) Hughes, and passed away June 1, 2020 in Webster, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacquelyn Hughes; brothers, James Hughes, Hershel Hughes, and Lloyd Hughes; and sisters, Melba Marks and Pat Hasselbach.

He is survived by his daughter, Anna Johnson of Livingston, Texas; son, Mark Hughes and wife Catherine of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Shane Witherspoon, Candice Whittington and Kris, Casey Hughes and Michael; great grandchildren, Shae Witherspoon, Shane Thomas Witherspoon, Trint Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, Hailey Lopez, Layni Lopez, Kiley Hughes, and David Hughes; brother, H.A. Hughes; and numerous other relatives, and friends.
