Bobby Gene Cassity Jr. age 49 of Batson passed away Wednesday July 28, 2010 in Liberty. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 31, 2010 at 2:00PM in the New Life Assembly Of God Church in Batson with Rev. Bill Campbell and Rev. Steve Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Guiedry Cemetery.

Bobby was born on September 18, 1960 in Livingston to parents Bobby Gene Cassity Sr. and Velda Gaston Cassity Clark. He was preceded in death by wife Tammie Kaye Cassity.

He is survived by his son Christopher Cassity of Batson, daughters Ashlee Cassity of Batson, Terease Cassity of Batson, and son Leyson Cassity of Batson, granddaughter Paris Cassity of Batson. He is also survived by his parents Bobby Cassity Sr. and step mother Betty of Ace, Velda Clark and step father John Clark of Bull Shoals, Ar., sister Teresa Nelson and husband Russ of Kingwood, and cousins Diana Dalton and husband Chad of Kingwood, and Christine Nelson of Richardson.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Adkins, Danny Kile, Stacy Kile, Mac Lyddy, Gene Dagle, Brian Carroll, Frank Aragon, and Tony Thrasher. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Long, Hector Suyac, William Ard, Tom Burger, Johnny McBryde, Troy Grice, and the employees of C&C Lumber, C&C Transport, Swab Tester, and P & W G Resources.
