Funeral services for Boyd Holland Thompson age 82 of Huntsville, Texas will be held Saturday January 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Homer Anderson officiating and interment to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wayne Roeder, Mack Ross, Josh Roeder, Jason Thompson, George Ross, Kenneth Ross and Caleb Thompson.

He was born January 28, 1928 in Eastland, Texas the son of Hanes Holland Thompson and Lottie Barker Thompson and passed away January 20, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Vaudine Thompson, sisters Mildred Knox and Georgena Perkins, brothers Bobby Thompson & Glenn Thompson and son in law Terry Roeder.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Thompson of Huntsville, Texas, Velma Roeder, daughter of Livingston, Lois & George Ross daughter and son in law of Livingston, Hanes Thompson, son of Atlanta, Georgia, Jimmy Boyd & Debbie Thompson of League City, Texas, Carl Wray & Martha Thompson, son and daughter in law of Moscow, Texas, Dora Thompson, daughter of Marshall, Texas, Angela Denise Neagle, daughter of Huntsville, Texas, Rhonda Gayle Neagle, daughter of Huntsville, Texas, 12 grandchildren, Terri & Todd Johnson, Jimmy Wayne & Michelle Roeder, Mack & Wendy Ross, Julie Ross, Michelle & Manny Llanes, Josh & Emily Roeder, George & Tessa Ross, Jason Thompson, Kenneth Ross, Jennifer Thompson, Caleb Thompson and Savannah Thompson and 14 great grandchildren.
