Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Forehand, 78, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Eric Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas Visitation will be held Friday, March 2, 2018, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mrs. Forehand was born October 10, 1939 in Houston, Texas, to parents, Pasquel Oneal Lynch and Rose (Doyle) Lynch. She joined the love of her life, Charlie Forehand, of 54 years in heaven on February 26, 2018. During her life, she taught school for 34 years and after retiring from teaching, she opened the Onalaska Florist in the late 80's until it closed around 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charlie Forehand; brother, Kenneth Oneal Lynch; and sister-in-law, Joan M. Lynch.

She is survived by her nephew, Keith Lynch and Kelly Gilmore; nephew, Ken Latessa and Laurie; nephew, Tommy Cromer and Candice; niece, Patti Yates and Tony; great-nephews, Hayden and Collin Lynch; great-nephews, Griffen, Dalton, Colby, and Brady Latessa; great-nieces, Darby Rose Latessa and Lilliana Latessa; aunt, Evelyn Lynch; cousin, Sharon Kay Teer and Whit; cousin, Richard Lynch; special friends, Richard and Linda Gerard, Robert and Linda Hughes, and Rhoda Barlow; and a very special girl, Hailey Hughes aka June Bug; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
