Obituary
Funeral services for Brian Allen Duff, 51, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Reagan Duncan officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service begins.
Mr. Duff was born November 24, 1963 in Livingston, Texas to parents, McArthur Duff and Dorita (Hance) Duff and passed away October 26, 2015 in Conroe, Texas. He was a graduate of Livingston High School where he played basketball and baseball. After high school, he went on to Bee County Junior College on a baseball scholarship and then to the University of Houston also on a baseball scholarship. In 1984, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies. After his baseball career, he worked in refrigerant sales, as a Landman and in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the Polunsky Unit.
He is survived by his mother, Dorita Duff of Leggett, Texas; father, McArthur Duff of Livingston, Texas; brother, Darrell Duff and wife, Martha of Corrigan, Texas; niece, Laura Bullard and husband, Chris of Hillsboro, Oregon; great nieces and nephews, Ayden Bullard and Shelby Bullard both of Hillsboro, Oregon; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
