Funeral services for Bro. Glen Price, 94, of Leggett, Texas, will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Dean Boyd and Bro. Royce Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Price was born October 2, 1923 in Bethany, Oklahoma to parents, James Steve Price and Donnie Lee (Rich) Price, and passed away July 23, 2018 in Houston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII from November 19, 1942 until September 30, 1945. Glen was in the infantry as a member of an anti-aircraft gun crew and served in England, France, Germany, Austria, and Luxemburg. He received his honorable discharge from the service in September of 1945 at the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
In 1949 he enrolled in seminary school at the Travis Baptist Gospel Ministries. He graduated with a BA degree from the Corpus Christie Christian College in 1952. He built two churches and was ordained into the Baptist ministry in Mendocino, California in 1954. He was pastor of many churches throughout the Midwest and Texas. He ministered as a Southern Baptist Pastor from 1952 - 2018 and some of these churches included New Caney Bethel, Livingston Baptist, and Jones Prairie Baptist Church in Leggett, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1 st wife, Vera Mae Owen Price; son, Glen Alton Price; brothers, Billy Jack Price and Jim Bob Price; and sister, Sylvia Lee Price.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Baker-Price of Leggett, Texas; daughter, Donna Mae Price Freeman of San Francisco, California; daughter, Brenda Ruth Price Thompson and husband, Phil of Dacono, Colorado; daughter, Sharon Rose Price Mitchell and husband, Andrew of Bartlett, Texas; daughter, Carol Jean Price Haughton and husband, David of New Braunfels, Texas; daughter, Teresa Baker Meek and husband, Chester of Palestine, Texas; daughter, Juanita Baker of Kingwood, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and 1 niece; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Haughton, Shannon Chappell, and many more grandsons
