Services for Burton Wayne Weeks, 90, of Shepherd, Texas will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Shepherd Texas. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Cemetery in Jasper, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service.

Burton was born December 28, 1932 in Kilgore. Texas and passed away August 23, 2023 in Kingwood, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chas A. Weeks and Mary Ima (Robinson) Weeks; wife; son, Ricky Wayne Weeks; and grandson, Gary Robert Weeks.

He is survived by his daughters, Lila Buckner of Spurger, Texas, Rita Brown and husband Jimmy of Jonesboro, Louisiana, and Dawn McCain and husband Lee of Hodge, Louisiana; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
