Funeral services for Butch Alexander age 66 of Onalaska, Texas will be held Tuesday May 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the First Assembly Of God in Onalaska with Rev. W.D. Allen, Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Phillip Halstead officiating with interment at 2:30 PM in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

He was born November 2, 1944 in Quanah, Texas the son of Horace M. Alexander and Corrina Joy Johnson Alexander and passed away April 29, 2011 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Alexander, his step mother, aunts and uncles.

He is survived by Diane Alexander, wife of Onalaska, Texas, Michelle & Bobby Cates, daughter and son in law of Spring, Texas, Lisa & Doug McClure, daughter and son in law of Irving, Texas, Gary & Kelly Verwold, son and daughter in law of Cypress, Texas, Joe & Colleen Alexander, brother and sister in law of Sugarland, Texas, Carlos Garcia, brother of Livingston, Texas, David Garcia, brother of Texas City, Texas, Sharon Green, sister of Dallas, Texas, Sandy & Grayland Tarpley, sister and brother in law of Florida, Joy Smith, mother of Florida, grandchildren are; Chelsea Verwold, Brittanie, Curbow, Siara McClure, Emilie Garcia, Shara McClure, Shaylee McClure, Joseph McClure and Jayce McClure.
