Candalario "Candy" Bernal Jr., 69, of Freeport, Texas was born December 14, 1955, in Palacios, Texas and passed away March 19, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Candalario Bernal Sr. and Mary Ellen Samora; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Sanchez and Raymond Samora; and sister, Guadalupe "Lupe" Morales.

Mr. Bernal is survived by his daughter, Jessica Bernal of Port Lavaca, Texas; daughter, Candice Falls and Daniel of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Catherine Moore and Jonathan of Huntsville, Texas; daughter, Christy Langston and Brady of Livingston, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Conteras and Lucinda "Lucy" Hernandez both of Palacious, Texas; and favorite niece, Christine Lazaro; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
