Graveside services for Carl W. Burleson Jr., 97, of Shepherd, Texas will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas with Bobby Keenom officiating. Visitation will be held the day of service from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the cemetery.

Carl was born November 15, 1927 in Floydada, Texas and passed away March 7, 2025 in Spring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. Burleson and Beulah (Myers) Burleson; wife, Helen Burleson; brothers, Billy Burleson and Jimmy Burleson; and his first wife, Lorene Burleson.

He is survived by his daughters, Janice Chapa and husband Chris of San Antonio, Texas, and Marsha Miller and Kenneth of Roff, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and sister Peggy Bryant of Paul's Valley, Oklahoma; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
