Memorial services for Carl Richard Stroud, 52, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Carl was born November 18, 1964 in Channelview, Texas to parents, Carthel E. Stroud and Mary Jo (Cromeans) Stroud, and passed away December 28, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his step-children, Richard Dancer of Livingston, Texas and Brittany Bradley of San Leon, Texas; mother, Mary Jo Stroud of Livingston, Texas; siblings, Edward Scott Atkinson and wife, Rita, Ronald Paul Atkinson and wife, Debbie, and Angela Deanne Severance and husband, Shawn all of Livingston, Texas; nieces, Jo Lynn Blanton and husband, Chris, and Malinda Atkinson both of Livingston, Texas, Shawna Poage and husband, Robert of Corrigan, Texas, Laura Atkinson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Rebecca Fleetwood and husband, Cody of Bastrop, Texas; nephews, James Severance, Viktor Severance, and Shawn Severance Jr. all of Livingston, Texas; great-nephews, Jacob Blanton and Kaleb Blanton both of Livingston, Texas, Kobi Poage and Elijah Poage both of Corrigan, Texas; and great-nieces, Kayla Atkinson of Livingston, Texas, Sierra Poage of Corrigan, Texas, and Avery Fleetwood of Bastrop, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
