Obituary
Carmen Contrera was born August 26, 1938 in Havana, Cuba, to parents, Filiberto Matilla and Caridat (Izquierto) Matilla, and passed away May 28, 2015 in Livingston, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Filiberto and Caridat (Izquierto) Matilla; and husband, Selo Contrera. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Llanes and Mavelin Contrera both of Mexia, Texas; brothers, Filiberto Matilla, Luis Matilla, and Oscar Matilla all of Miami, Florida; grandchildren, Manny Llanes, Jovanny Llanes and Josh Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Mya Llanes, Maddison Llanes, Jimmy Cuevas, and Gabriella Llanes.
