Funeral services for Carmen Escovedo Ramirez, 88, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rick Jolley officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Carmen was born December 2, 1937 in Spur, Texas and passed away January 31, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esiquio Escovedo and Fernanda Alvardo Escovedo; the father of her children, Francisco Ramirez; grandson, Daniel Ramirez Jr.; brothers, Fedel Sanchez and Tony Escovedo; and sisters, Teresa Sanchez Armenta, Bentura Rangel, Mary Louise Escovedo, Janie Escovedo, and Florentina Rangel.

She is survived by her son, Danny Ramirez; daughters, Cecilia Hoy and Christina Stilley and husband Andy; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Helen Cedillo; and brothers, Steve Escovedo, Soloman Escovedo, Henry Escovedo, and Joe Escovedo; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Paul Holmes, Jordan Jolley, John Wyrick, Rego Reyes, Richard Ramirez, and John Hammock II.

Honorary Bearers: Michael Farmer, Jeremy Jordan, Layton Stilley, and Ryan Stilley.
