Funeral services for Carol Ann Griffin, 81, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Gary Lawrence, Bro. Charlie Dean and Bro. Mitchell Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Carol was born on August 6, 1944, in Holly Grove, Texas, and passed away on March 19, 2026, in Kingwood, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sallie Kervin; her brothers, Carlton Kervin and wife Della, Bill Kervin and wife Dorothy, Elba Kervin and wife Harvelyn, and Brad Kervin; her sister, Dorothy Shivers and husband John; and her grandson-in-law, Matthew Pixley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jimmy R. Griffin; her son, Jimmy Griffin and wife Jana; and her daughter, Misty Richardson and husband Ernie (“Bubbie”). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Sidney Cox and wife Chelsea, Timbre Pixley, Remington Richardson and wife Paige, Jacob Griffin and girlfriend Alexandra Baldacchino, and Colton Richardson and girlfriend Breanna Carter.

Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Lauren Cox, Whitley Pixley, Kinsley Pixley, Waylon Richardson, Kate Cox, Boone Richardson, and Cohen Richardson.

Carol is also survived by her sisters, Fay Cain and husband Olan, and Sue Edge and husband Buddy, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Carol was a woman of God whose unwavering faith guided her throughout her life. She found great joy in cooking, tending to her garden, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Carol was a lifelong member of Holly Grove Baptist Church, the same church where she was raised, attended school, and married the love of her life. Her faith and dedication to her church were a cornerstone of her life. Her love, kindness, and unwavering devotion will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Carol will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Mikey Jo Kervin, Ray Kervin, Carlton (Buckshot) Kervin Jr., John Shivers Jr., Randy Oliver and Robert Aldridge.
