Obituary
Graveside services for Carol Jean Hamlin, 69, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Texas with Rev. William Hamlin officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
Ms. Hamlin was born May 4, 1945 in Waco, Texas to parents, Julian Hodges and Frances (Jones) Hodges, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Richard Hamlin; great-nephew, Andy Carey.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Jean Hill and Chuck of Dayton, Texas; daughter, Debra Kay King of New Caney, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Hill, Chucky Hill, Johnathan Hill, Renee Jessup, Jeffrey Jessup and Sumer, Nathan Jessup; great-grandchildren, Maxx Hill, Riley Jessup, Raegan Jessup; sisters, Judy Rickett and Joe Pat, Linda Wiltshire and Wayne, Kay Thompson and Jerry; brother-in-law and wife, William Hamlin and Beverly; sister-in-law and husband, Nancy Cooke and Brian; along numerous other relatives and friends.
