Carol Koperna 66, of Livingston passed away Monday December 17, 2007 in Lufkin. Funeral services were held Friday December 21. 2007 at 11:00AM at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Don Willis and Rev. James Frazier officiating. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Carol was born June 14, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to parents C.M. and Jean Ware Hardy. She received Bachelors and Masters degree from Lama University. Carol was a member of several clubs including Levi and Lace Square Dance Club, Polk County Garden Club and a local book club. She was also a devoted member of the Inspirational Sunday School class of the First United Methodist Church. Carol was a avid bridge player and was very fond of her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her father C.M. and Jean Ware Hardy and her stepmother Sally Jewell Hardy.

She is survived by her loving husband William ""Bill"" Koperna, daughters Robyn Olin, Catherine Bloom and husband Bryan, son Hardy Browne and wife Shelley, grandsons Trevor Bloom, Tyler Bloom and Tristan Browne. One great granddaughter Brooke Browne survives her as well.
