Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Edwards, 79, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas Dr. Vic Edwards, Bro. Don Edwards, Pastor Jerry Vincent, and Bridgette Whitaker officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will be held in the afternoon of Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, Georgia.

Mrs. Edwards was born May 29, 1939 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to parents, Oscar M. Woodson and Patsy Margaret (Ellis) Woodson, and passed away July 9, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Patsy Ruth Gibson and Charlotte Burns.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Edwards of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Cheryl J. Marshall and husband, Tommy of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Theresa E. Waller and husband, Ken of Centreville, Alabama; son, David L. Edwards and wife, Shelli of Wallisville, Texas; son, Dale L. Edwards of Onalaska, Texas; son, Thomas M. Edwards II. and wife, Jennifer of Sparks, Nevada; granddaughters, Rachel Casburn and husband, D.J. of Huntsville, Texas, Courtney Edwards and Alyson Edwards both of Gonzales, Texas, Erica Ortego of Dayton, Texas, Samantha Pesetsky and Emily Edwards both of Sparks, Nevada, and Merritt Drewery of New York; grandsons, Shane Stoe and wife, Amanda of Dayton, Texas, David L. Edwards and wife, Candy of Neederland, Texas, Jonathan Edwards of Conroe, Texas, Jeremiah Stoe of Huntsville, Texas, Christopher Blackwell and wife, Schyler of Cibolo, Texas, Caleb Edwards of Palestine, Texas, Ethan Edwards of Gonzales, Texas, Nicolas Pesetsky of Stillwell, Oklahoma, Blake Pesetsky of Arkansas, Schyular Pesetsky, Jackson Pesetsky, and Tristan Edwards all of Sparks, Nevada, and Tommy Drewery and wife, Kasidi of Wallisville, Texas; great-granddaughters, Charity Blackwell, Kennedy Blackwell, Jillian Casburn, Brianna Ortego, and Cambrie Lowrie; great-grandsons, Dylan Kubsch, Landon Stoe, Hunter Stoe, Trent Stoe, Tyler Stoe, Garrett Stoe, Cade Casburn, Logan Casburn, Maverick Drewery, Mason Drewery, and Talon Blackwell; sisters, Louise Parrish of Jasper, Texas, and Judy Bryan and Elaine Campbell both of Rossville, Georgia; and brother, Anthony Woodson, Sr. of Rossville, Georgia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
