Carolyn Ann Sample, 78, of Livingston, Texas passed away on August 20, 2023. Carolyn was born on May 9, 1945 in Austin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lou and Jessie Marion Branum; daughter, Cindy Sample; and sisters, Juanita King and Mary Elizabeth Wagner.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Joe Wayne Sample of Livingston, Texas; son, Kevin Sample and wife Lisa of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter, Kristie Ann Kessler of Cypress, Texas; and granddaughters, Madelyn Kessler and Mallory Kessler; as well as other relatives and many other friends.

The simplest things in life brought great joy to Carolyn such as camping and fishing with the love of her life, and spending time with her family and granddaughters and taking care of her fur babies.
