Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Thompson Cowan, 67, of Corrigan, Texas, will be held Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Gary Forrest and Bro. Buster Grigg officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2022, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., before the service begins.

Mrs. Carolyn was born August 24, 1954, in Warren, Arkansas, to parents, Billy Clyde Thompson and Alice Aline (Savage) Thompson, and passed away April 29, 2022 in Corrigan, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, James Cowan of Corrigan, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason Brian and Michelle Cowan of Chester, Texas and Jeremy Allan and Jamie Cowan of Chester, Texas; daughter, Nancy Cowan Clamon of Plugerville, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Thompson of Dawson, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Lisa of Lufkin, Texas and Marty and Suzanne Thompson of Chester, Texas; and special aunt, Pauline Johnston of The Woodlands, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
