Funeral services for Casey Dion Smelley, 30, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.

Casey Dion Smelley was born February 2, 1993 in Galveston, Texas and passed away January 1, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Ella Smelley; grandfather, Davey Allen Felts; uncle, Davey Allen "Buddy" Felts, Jr.; and great grandmother, Estelle Sanford.

Casey is survived by his parents, Shannon Dion and Christy LeAnn (Felts) Smelley; daughter, Ella Rae Smelley; son, Kayden Dion Smelley; wife and mother of his children, Brittany Ann Minks; grandmother, Edith Ann Felts, cousin, Bradley Smelley and Haley and children; uncle and aunt, Caleb Rodriguez and Cassie and children; aunt, Candice Felts and children; uncle and aunt, Stacey Smelley and Cindy, Maggie and daughter; cousins, Dustin Durham and Brittany and children; uncle, Tracey Smelley; close friends, Donald Cumbie, Aaron Cumbie, Cory White, Allen Gonzalez, Ethan Maze, Ryan Dillon, and Tommy Coward; and numerous other relatives and friends.
