Cathey Sack Rocadas, born April 2, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska to Duane and Donna (Manchester) Sack. Cathey went to be with her Lord on November 17, 2019 at the age of 67. She is preceded in death by her husband, father, three sisters, and a niece.

The Sack family moved to Livingston in the late 60's; her father had taken a long-term contract with one of the many companies participating in the construction of Lake Livingston and it's dam.

Cathey graduated from Livingston High School. After attending Angelina Jr College and SFA, her first "real" job lasting 27 years was with The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. While at Methodist, Cathey met her husband, Antonio Rocadas - a Portuguese journalist stationed in Macau. They married in 1996.

Cathey returned to Livingston. She worked 15+ yrs at the local Walmart until, without notice, the store closed for renovations. Her life changed to full-time caregiver of her aging and strong-willed mother.

Cathey is survived by her mother, Donna Sack; and two nephews: Steven and Matthew Dodd.
