She was born October 19, 1958 in Livingston, Texas the daughter of Preston O. Young and Dorothy F. Thompson Young and passed away March 6, 2010 in Shepherd, Texas.

She is survived by her parents, Preston & Dorothy Young, Donald & Pam Young, brother & sister in law, Johnny & Priscilla Updegraf, brother & sister in law, Elisha Hopkins, daughter, Daniel & Christine Hopkins, son and daughter in law, J.P. Deaton, son, Emily Deaton, daughter, Dennis Deaton, spouse, Bradley Hopkins, grandchild, Onui Garcia, grandchild, Cecilia Hopkins, grandchild, Dorothy Garcia, grandchild, Olivia Hopkins, grandchild and Emily Hopkins, grandchild.
