Funeral Services for Charles Ray "Charlie" Aragon, 63, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, December 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas, with Bro. John Dee officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Charlie was born December 6, 1958, in Livingston, Texas to his parents, Joe L. Aragon Sr. and Mozelle Flores and passed away November 28, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mozelle Flores; father Joe L.; and brother, Joe.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Jo Aragon and Kenneth McNiel; son, Tyler Blake Aragon; grandchildren, Kynzleigh Raye McNiel, Keegan Lloyd McNiel, Kamryn Reese McNiel, Kayden Stephen McNiel, Gracie Lee Davis, and Jennifer Rodriguez; stepfather, Eskill "Jimmy" Hastings; companion, Tami LaGow; and his brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Miracle and Preston, Adell Dull and Sid, Frank Aragon and Melody, Robert Arragon and Beth, Janie Aragon Kemp and Harry, and Brenda Holden and Mike; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Charlie was a proud business owner of Aragon Heating and Cooling for 30+ years. He took pride in his work and loved serving his community. He graciously gave back to that same community by sponsoring numerous benefits, fundraisers and charity events for those in need. If a child needed sponsored, he did it. He was always willing to help however he was needed. He loved to entertain and was always the life of the party. He had a love for food and cooking and could tell you all the best places to eat within a 250 mile radius. Whether he was frying fish, boiling crawfish or smoking brisket you knew it would be good. Charlie enjoyed ATV rides, traveling in the motorhome, hunting trips and being around friends and family. Above everything else, he loved his kids and grandkids the most and would do anything to make them happy. Charlie Aragon will be greatly missed by everyone.
