Funeral services for Charles Edwin Bridges, age 79, of Onalaska will be held Tuesday March 31, 2009 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, with Rev. Charles Timothy Brewer officiating and interment to follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers will be Wesley Wright, Laramie Harrison, Lance Harrison, Lee Harrison, Sam Webb, Bryan Burr and Jacob Ermel. Honorary Pallbearer will be Chad Ermel.

Charles was born March 15, 1930 in Lufkin, Texas the son of Aubry and Winnie Potts Bridges, and passed away Saturday March 28, 2009 in Trinity, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his Aubry and Winnie Bridges, sisters, Ruth Capps, Marie Squires, Jane ogles by, Martha Capps and Faye Capps.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bridges, of Onalaska, Deborah & Frank Wright, daughter & son in law, of Channelview, Texas, Margaret Jo & Thomas Ermel, daughter & son in law of Hardin, Texas, Brenda & Mike Burr, daughter & son in law of Channelview, Texas, Charlotte & Wesley Harrison, daughter & son in law of Tarkington, Texas, Johna & Sam Webb, daughter & son in law of Channelview, Texas, John ""Buddy"" Bridges, brother of Lufkin, Texas, Reginald ""Pinky"" Bridges, brother of Lufkin, Texas, Geraldine Bridges, aunt of Pollock, Texas, 12. Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
