Charles Ray Childress, age 66 of Livingston, Texas passed away on August 21, 2013 in Livingston. Charles was born on July 27, 1947 in Houston, Texas to parents Marshall Childress and Kathryn Cordell.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Childress; and brother, Richard Childress. He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn and husband Alex Melendez of Humble, Texas, Michelle Purcell of Conroe, Texas, and Amanda Childress of Waukesha, Wisconsin; mother and step-father, Kathryn and Richard Patterson of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Vicki Childress of Livingston, Texas and Sharon and husband Kenny Sangster of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Gary Childress of Livingston, Texas and Stacy Childress of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy Barziza, Jenna Keena, Jennifer Musgraves, Justin Musgraves, Jordann Hardcastle, Jacob Hardcastle, Henry Morgan, and Penn Morgan; great-grandchildren, Branden Keena and Alizabeth Keena; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
