Memorial services for Charles Ray "Cookie" Savell, 72, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Onalaska Church of Christ in Onalaska, Texas with Homer Anderson officiating.
Mr. Savell was born November 8, 1942, in Houston, Texas to parents, Laverne Guy Savell and Willie Mae (Wallace) Savell, and passed away April 4, 2015 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Jeanie Savell.
He is survived by wife, Ella Savell of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Ferney Echeverry of Atascocita, Texas; daughter, Cindy Power of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren, Kelsey Echeverry, Kaitlin McMullen, Camryn McMullen, and Zachery Power; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Cookie's name.
