Funeral services for Charles T. Dillard, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Ed Jennings officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, June 12, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins.
Mr. Dillard was born December 7, 1932 in Perkins, Oklahoma to parents, Theodore Thomas Dillard and Clova Isabell (Gray) Dillard, and passed away June 5, 2017 in Houston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene Dillard; brother, Richard Dillard, and daughter, Jacquelyn Soape.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Jennifer Dillard of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Melody Wood of Marble Falls, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Denise Polston of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Mike Smitherman of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Mike Velasco of Goodrich, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Nelson and Madeline Sucarichi of Alvin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, George and Marsha Sucarichi of Mt. Belvieu, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Adele Dillard; and sister, Donna Dillard Granger; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
