Funeral Service for Charles ""Jack"" Sharp, age 77 of Onalaska, Texas, was held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2012.
Jack was born on April 28, 1935, in Covington, Louisiana, to parents, Alex Sharp and Mellinee Hunt Sharp. He passed away on June 4, 2012 in Livingston, Texas. Jack was a self-employed insurance agent and retired from AFLAC as a Regional Manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mellinee Sharp; and brother, Alex Sharp, Jr. Jack is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sharp of Onalaska, Texas; three sons, three daughters-in-law and one daughter, Chuck and Medina Sharp of Lufkin, Texas, Gwen Sharp of Houston, Texas, Patrick and Ana Sharp of Willis, Texas, and Scott and Jo Anna Martin of Haughton, Louisiana.; brother and sister-in-law, Latroy and Carolyn Sharp of Bush, Louisiana; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Becky Hicks of Onalaska, Texas; mother-in-law, Emily Hicks of Onalaska, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas, on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, beginning at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
