Funeral services for Charles Lewis Stanford, 90, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Jimmy Calvert officiating. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Stanford was born September 22, 1928 in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Lewis Samuel Stanford and Besse Mae (Clarke) Stanford, and passed away May 7, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Fay Rene Stanford of Onalaska, Texas; daughters, Charlotte Stanford of Biloxi, Mississippi, Linda Els of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Deborah Forsyth and husband, Larry of Onalaska, Texas; sister, Betty Gibson and husband, Wayne of Boerne, Texas; grandchildren, Avril VanZyl and Adriaan, Leon Els and wife, Robyn, Keith Poole and wife, Carla, Clarke Poole and wife, Marisa, Craig Poole, Brett Forsyth and wife, Shelley, and Robert Forsyth and wife, Jennifer; and 12 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.
