Obituary
Memorial services for Charles "Chuck" Vernon Bennett, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Michael Gates officiating. Visitation will begin at 11am until service begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Bennett was born July 23, 1935 in Casper, Wyoming to parents, Patrick A. Bennett and Margaret C. (Barry) Bennett, and passed away November 22, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha Bennett; and daughter-in-law, Peggy Bennett.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Kelley and Robert of Livingston, Texas; sons, Vern Bennett Sr. of Houston, Texas and Bobby Bennett and Debbie of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Kelley and Kasey, Abigail Kelley, Kristina Ford, Sara Beth Bennett, Caleb Bennett and Dionda, Seth Bennett, Vern Bennett Jr. and Gina, and Karen Bennett; numerous great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jerry Lusky of Livingston, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy Catherine Tyner of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
