Committal services for Charles Wesley Whittington, Sr., 78, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Whittington was born March 10, 1944 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to parents, Clarence M. Whittington and Addie O. (West) Whittington, and passed away March 21, 2022 in Bryan, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jimmy, Larry, Billy, and Lynn Whittington.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Whittington of Onalaska, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck Whittington and Teresa of Onalaska, Texas, Larry Whittington and Margaret of League City, Texas, and John Whittington and Dena of Onalaska, Texas; grandchildren, Taylor, Jessica, Kinsey, Josie, Tisha, Sissy, John Michael, and Karen; great grandchild, Alexis Rottinghaus; sister, Anita Henderson of Midland, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roxie Jeter and Walt of Onalaska, Texas, and Mary Wyrick and Royce or Rio Rancho, New Mexico; brother-in-law, Bren Jarrell of Onalaska, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Jeri Whittington and Carlyn of Farmington, New Mexico; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
