Mr. Charles Arthur Wickes, 80, of Goodrich, Texas was born June 25, 1941 in Cohoes, New York to parents, Robert Wickes and Mildred (Johnson) Wickes, and passed away January 30, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Dean Gladd and Brian Gladd; and brother, Robert Wickes.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria C. Wickes of Goodrich, Texas; sons, Jeffrey Charles Wickes and wife, Nichole of Point Blank, Texas, Jason Wickes and wife, Tammy of Livingston, Texas, Freeman Gladd and wife, Debbie of Pennsylvania, and Jessie Gladd of Saratoga Springs, New York; daughter, Shelley Hawkes and husband, Scott of North Carolina; and grandchildren, Alexandria Gladd, Aleah Noonan and husband, Jeremiah, Travis Gladd and wife, Ann, Austin Gladd and wife, Heather, Josh Haynes, Brady Gladd, Meaghan McDermott, Brooke Hinchcliff, Stephanie Robinson and husband, John, Stephen Wickes, Jeffrey Charles Wickes Jr. , Serenity Wickes, Joshua Hawkes, Caleb Hawkes, and Emma Hawkes; along with numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
