Obituary
Chilton Junior Steele, 69, of Grapeland, Texas, was born February 4, 1954 in Iaeger, West Virginia and passed away August 18, 2023 in Tyler, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Jay Steele and Mary Launoria (Kennedy) Steele.
Chilton is survived by his brothers, James Steel and David Steele, both of Grapeland, Texas; nephew, Lonnie Steele and wife Felicia of Livingston, Texas; and niece, Mary Steele of Crockett, Texas; along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
