Mr. Christopher LaShawn Washington, 34, of Onalaska, Texas was born January 3, 1984 in Houston, Texas to parents, John Henry and Sandra Washington, and passed away August 6, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas. During his life, Christopher played football for and graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. He loved working on cars and playing video games.He is preceded in death by his parents; and grandfather, Willie Paul.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Washington of Springtown, Texas; daughter, Leah Washington of Dallas, Texas; son, Jordan Washington of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Marvin Washington and Vaurissa of Onalaska, Texas, and Joe Washington, Lee Washington, and Anthony Washington all of Houston, Texas; and grandmother, Faye Washington of Houston, Texas; along with numerous extended family and friends.
