Funeral services for C.J. Green, 81, of Houston, Texas, will be held Monday, August 24, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Kurt Harman officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015 beginning from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Green was born May 5, 1934 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Clarence F. Green and Mary Ann (Mills) Green, and passed away August 18, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Melrose Lodge #1294 A.F. & A.M of Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lorraine Green; and brother, Jerry Lloyd.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Debra Green of Splendora, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Michael Martinez of Katy, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Green and David Helbert of Spring, Texas; daughter, Carol Green of Houston, Texas; brother, Gene Green of Livingston, Texas; sister, Doris Johnson of Sulphur, Louisiana; brother, J.B. Loyd of Somerville, Texas; sister, Norma Jean Sherrod of Goodrich, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Smalley, Adrion F. Green, Gabriella E. Hogan, Jade A. Martinez, Jaryd Martinez, Ashley N. Helbert, Jonah D. Green; great grandchildren, Emily Smalley, Maranda Smalley, Brianna Green, Madalyn Green, Alexander Hogan, Vivian Hogan, DeAngelo Helbert, Angelena Acosta and Helbert; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
