Graveside memorial services for Clara D. Marrs, 77, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.
Mrs. Marrs was born July 24, 1937 in Oakhurst, Texas to parents, George Washington Harrell and Minnie Estle (Goolsby) Harrell, and passed away January 21, 2015 in Shepherd, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon Marrs Sr.; sister, Ruth Vernice Powell; brothers, Roland Harrell, Walter Harrell, Johnny Harrell, Wallace Harrell, Jimmy Harrell; and infant son, Roy Allen Marrs.
She is survived by her son, Gordon Ray Marrs Jr. of Shepherd, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Pamila and Richard Davis of Alton, Missouri; son and daughter-in-law, Donny and Patricia Marrs of Shepherd, Texas; 7 granddaughters; 10 great grandchilren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
