Funeral services for Clarence William Spears, Sr., age 70 of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday April 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Leslie Wilkinson and interment to follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Robert Smith, Wayne Purvis, Doug Thompson, Gary Thompson, Richard Patterson, Bill Thompson and Jerry Taylor.

He was born December 1, 1940 in Gladewater, Texas the son of Clarence Spears and Marjorie Sadie Combs Spears and passed away April 19, 2011 in Livingston. He is preceded in death by Charles Latimer, grandson, Steven Garza, grandson, Bonnie Thompson, sister and Janice Spears, sister.

He is survived by Ernestine Spears, wife of Livingston, Clarence William ""Bill"" Spears, Jr., son of Houston, Texas, Clarence & Robin Spears, son & daughter in law of Shepherd, Texas, James & Lorna Spears, son and daughter in law of Chester, Texas, Sharon Kay & James Binter, daughter & son in law of Lovelady, Texas, Robert & Mary Spears, son and daughter in law of Nordheim, Texas, Kenneth Taylor, son of Livingston, grandchildren; Christopher Clarence Spears, Krystell Maryanne Spears, Kelsie Nepveux, Kyle Nepveux, DeWayne Purvis, Wesley Purvis, Justin Spears, Lacy Spears, Travis Binter, Jacob Binter, Brent Binter, Amber Quinn, Levi Garrett Spears and Raina Garza. Numerous great grandchildren also survive.
