Master Sergeant Clayton M. Murray of Onalaska, Texas died on February 19, 2011 in the VA Hospital, Houston, Texas
He was 89 years old, born on January 8, 1922 in Olathe, Texas the son of Monroe and Virgie Murray.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Dorothy Murray, two Sons, Eugene and Lyle.
M/Sgt. Murray retired from the U.S. Army with more than 20 years of service. He was wounded during the invasion of Normandy 1944. He served in Japan, Korea and Alaska and retired in 1961.
After retiring M/Sgt. Murray was in sales for Wear Ever and Cutco, Inc. He also sold promotional products with M and H Co. for over 20 years.
Survived by his daughter Gloria Jean Murray of Phoenix, Arizona and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
M/Sgt. Murray will be interned in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona, by the side of his wife.
