Funeral services for Clewis Neville Brecheen, Sr., 93, of Baytown, Texas, will be held Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Robert Cannon and David Langehennig officiating. Interment will follow in the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 2, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Brecheen was born September 15, 1924 in Mize, Mississippi to parents, Hollis Brecheen and Daisy (McGehee) Brecheen and passed away on August 31, 2018 in Baytown, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Dorothy Hughes; son-in-law, Richard Hughes; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.

Clewis was a member of the Revival Center Church of God for over 20 years and also briefly taught Sunday school. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and other family members and had nicknames for everyone.

Mr. Brecheen is survived by his wife Donie Brecheen of Baytown, Texas; daughter, Belinda Brecheen of Dayton, Texas; son, Clewis Neville Brecheen, Jr. and Gloria of California; daughter, Margaret Burton and William of Baytown, Texas; granddaughter, Autumn Dubroc and Jonathan; grandsons, Darryl Hughes, Brandon McCullars; granddaughter, Rachel Stiers and Bill; grandsons, Mark Hughes and Jennifer, Kelly Hamilton and Keith; granddaughters, Dorothy Sweet, Amber Davila and Joel, Michelle Brecheen; grandson, Hollis Brecheen, 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jesse Brecheen and Shirley of Liberty, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are: Jonathan Dubroc, Darryl Hughes, Brandon McCullars, Joel Davila, Keith Hamilton and Mark Hughes.
