Obituary
Funeral services for Clyde Van Meter, Jr. of Livingston, will be held Monday April 20, 2009 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating and interment to follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska. Pallbearers will be John Walton, Jason Walton, Kyle Walton, Tom Neumann, James Beckner and Earl Carroll.
He was born September 14, 1926 in Grand Prairie, Texas the son of Clyde & Vera M. Lowe Van Meter, and passed away April 17, 2009 in Livingston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Donald Wayne Van Meter.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maurine Van Meter of Livingston, his daughter & son in law, Sherry Lynn & John Walton of Houston, grandchildren, Jason Walton, of New York and Kyle Walton of Houston, brother & sister in law, David D. & Carolyn Van Meter of Deer Park and sister Loyce Horn of Dallas.
Cochran Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
