Graveside services for Clyde Smelley, 74, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Smelley was born January 19, 1943 in Corrigan, Texas to parents, Lee Smelley and Clemmie May (Lowe) Smelley, and passed away April 8, 2017 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ella Mae Smelley; brother, Leon Smelley; sister, Martha May Reed; brothers, James Smelley and Leroy Smelley; and sister, Evelyn Pope.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Stacey and Cindy Smelley of Livingston, Texas, Shannon and Christy Smelley of Livingston, Texas, and Tracey and Tasha Smelley of Livingston, Texas; sister, Leverne McClendon of Washington; granddaughter, Brittany Durham and husband, Dustin of Corrigan, Texas; grandsons, Bradley Smelley and wife, Haley of Livingston, Texas, and Casey Smelley and wife, Brittany of Livingston, Texas; granddaughter, Maggie Smelley of Livingston, Texas; great-granddaughter, Brilee Durham; great-grandson, Bentlee Durham; great-granddaughter, Ella Rae Smelley; great-grandsons, Axel Smelley and Kayden Smelley; along with numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
