Funeral services for Curtis Batterton Allen Sr., 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Tarsisius Puling, S.V.D. officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Allen was born July 4, 1931 in Huntsville, Texas to parents, Robert Edward Lee Allen and Ollie Mandy (Littlefield) Allen, and passed away January 15, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene Allen; daughter, Rose Mary Adams; sisters, Estelle, Nora, and Mary; and brothers, Edell, Willie, and Edward.

He is survived by his daughter, Sande Ryan of Houston, Texas; daughter, Debbie Droze and husband, Michael of Sweet Home, Texas; daughter, Julie Lawrence of Livingston, Texas; son, Curtis Allen Jr. and wife, Kathryn of Shepherd, Texas; son, Joe Allen and wife, Robin of Shepherd, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
