Graveside services for Dan Lowe, 77, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Peebles Cemetery in Goodrich, Texas. He died August 25, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. Dan will be laid to rest in the cemetery where four generations of his family are buried. Dan's nephew Dr. Randall Lowe will officiate at his funeral service.

Dan was born in the old Flowers Hospital in Livingston, Texas on September 30, 1943 to parents, Rosa Lee Williams and Clinton Lowe. He joined two older brothers at the family home in Goodrich, Texas. Within a few years, the family moved to a farm in the Trinity River bottom where his father ranched and raised cotton.

Dan graduated from Goodrich High School in 1962 and from Sam Houston State University in 1966. Shortly thereafter, he married Bridget Ellen McWhorter. They raised their two sons in Kingwood, Texas. Dan returned to Polk County to live about thirty years ago.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Lowe; and nephew, Mike Lowe. He is survived by his son, Todd Lowe of Los Angeles, California; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Bianca Lowe of Titusville, Florida; grandsons, William Staley and Zachary Lowe of Titusville, Florida; the mother of his sons, Bridget Lowe of Sinton, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Annette Lowe of Livingston, Texas; sister-in-law, Diann Lowe of Livingston, Texas; nephew, Randall Lowe and family of Trinity, Texas; nephew Gary Lowe & family of Cedar Park, Texas; several cousins and friends.
