Dan Trulen Swinney, age 77, passed away on December 27, 2013, in Livingston, Texas. His services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 31, 2013 at the Cochran Funeral Home, in Livingston, with Rev. Carl Provost officiating. Interment to follow at Midway Loop Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to service.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Moss, Joshua Moss, Dylan Floyd, Hewy Jackson, III, Greg Moss, Greg Swinney, Tracey Swinney and Chris Floyd.

Dan was born August 24, 1936, to parents Henry Foy Swinney and Edna Izora (Holder) Swinney. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Ann Swinney.
Dan is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Greg Moss of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Dara and Chris Floyd of Johnson, Kansas, Dena and Hewy Jackson of Coldspring, Texas; son, Corey Swinney of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren: Jesse Moss, Joshua and Samantha Moss, Haley Floyd, Dylan Floyd, Hewy Jackson, III, Destiny Jackson and Daniel Jackson; great-grandchild, Maci Moss; brother, Henry Foy Swinney, Jr; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
